Legend of Dragoon patch problem

I burned a copy of Legend of Dragoon Disc 1, and when I put it in, it gave me the terminated screen. I found a patch for it on MegaGames.com, patched it, and tried it out again and it worked, but with one major problem, the screen jumps up and down while playing it. Even after the cheats menu that comes with the patch, the screen was still jumpy. Do you guys know what may be the problem, or have another site that carries patches? Thanks.

How did you fix it? What was the root cause? Some on the forum would be keen to know and avoid in future.

When faced with the choose PAL or NTSC he probably chose the wrong one.

Yeah I did choose the wrong one, I didn't know you had to choose one at first, they should make it a bit clearer

At What point does it prompt you? All I ever see is a bunch of screensaver looking crap!
