ps2 tray wonīt open

hi there. i have a ps2 with neo2 and ar2. when i hold the reset button pressed and load the ar2 the tray wonīt open when the button is released. what did i wrong? it plays psx backups and originals, ps2 backups and originals but when i want to play ea backups it wonīt work!

Who installed the chip? What version PS2 do you have?

itīs a ps 30004. i installed the chip by myself. is it possible that the pin 5 and 6 have to be changed? a friend of mine has the same probs. the tray wonīt open when i try the ea method.

Usually when the tray won't open pins 5 and 6 are not connected correctly. Use a magnifying glass to make sure no excess solder is connecting the two together and that they are securely connected to the board.
