Please, need help.
I burned a copy of my EA sport game, Rumble Racing. When i play my back up the screen is black and white and it keeps going down over and over like a bad video tape. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening? I have a Mod chip and GS2 v1.4.

sounds like you are trying to play a pal game on a nstc psx or nstc game on a pal psx you will need to patch it

I have a Playstation 2 (US) and I am trying to play Rumble Racing.
Can you please explain to me what is PAL and NTCS? I keep hearing about them but I have no idea what they are except that they are TV resolutions. Thanks, DYnamo |

Oh my god
![]() NTSC is your (US) television system, PAL is our (european) television system - you have to use a multinorm tv or a tv being able to handle RGB signals to play imports (you need a PS-RGB cable!). Be sure to set your PS2 to RGB output ... |

Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't RGB point to colors? Why does the screen roll over and over? It has nothing to do with color.
I patched the game but it still rolls and is black and white, but then again I dont have a PS-RGB cable. Will a PS-RGB cable stop the game from rolling over and over? Thanks, DYnamo |

the rgb cable (scart cable) doesn't just do the colour it transfers all the signal from the psx to the T.V

What if my TV/VCR do not have a Scart input, is there any way around that? Is there an extension of osme sort or a converter, other than a PAL converter since they cost $70 or so.
Thanks, DYnamo |
