If the patch for it doesn't work.. and you deffinitely have a PAL playstation (which is if you live in Europe),, then you should try using the Gameshark CD. Go to ~####://cmgsccc./psx/ and look for the codes to input for that game.. if you need help running the gameshark cd then lmk and i'll walk you through it.. fairly simple. the main button is the O button for the most part but you use the r1 and r2 buttons to go between numbers.. hope this will solve your problems.. And all the patches on Megagames work just fine so either your patching a NTSC game(US Version) with a pal patch or your not doing it correctly.. I've posted replies to several peoples questions so just ##### out the other posts and I've suppllied the information to correctly burn a backup disk with patch and without using clonecd and cdrwin.. You can apply the patches to cdclone files as well.. Instead of using .bin browse to your IMAGE file that clone creates. It creates a IMAGE, a .ccd file and a .img file.. you want to patch the IMAGE File.. It will say the file sizes don't match but patch anyways and try that.. Just make sure you ##### Read Subchannel audio and data when burning the image...hope this helps!! you can get the gameshark cd under PSX utilities section on megagames.com

I've just looked at the patches your downloading and if it's the first one in the list then that's the correct one for Europe version. Protection fix and ntsc/pal selector. Do you even get it to boot up?? if so are you pushing X for pal?? Not to undermind your intelligence at all, just wondering as I just need some more info and I'm glad to help..My kid drives me crazy when her games don't work either..heheh....

to 24seven, thanks for replying first of all,the euro patch on megagames comes up with the warning that its not the right size for the game ,i've patched it anyway and it still only lets me play the first two levels.i've pached many games and not had any problem before so i don't think i'm doing it wrong.

This is my first post on this forum as i have not been around the psx scene in about 2 or 3 years but thanks to ps2 my intertest has been renewed. Heres a tip whan trying to patch:

Try reading the original with a different cdrom (not a cd-r drive).
You might find that the image is the right size for the patch. This has worked for me on several occasions in the past. Also if the image is the wrong size for the patch, don't waste a cdr, it aint gonna work.

Hope this helps

Use CloneCd to burn 102 Dalmatians.
It works without using a patch.

Sorry for my english....

Bye.

Hi,

I heard that the game was called back because the first release had a bug that when you get to the second level it restarts to the first, not sure how true this is, but it would make sense, cos you seem to know what your doing when making backups

Just thought ild stick my 2 pence in

Approximately 170,000 or the original copies were recalled due to that bug which limited the game to the first two levels.

I would suspect there are still quite a lot of this bugged version still around.
