I already backed up the first and third installmentss with their DLCs on 2xDVD5s, and 3xDVD5s (respectfully) and this one (second game) still sits on it's DVD9's + 5GB of DLCs sitting on my hard drive for over a year now. If I decide to get the Trilogy, I will be getting less content (in which I can use DLCs already in possession) but on the other side, I would be forced to burn the backups on 4-6 new DVDs (depending on size of the game and compression used) leaving my already burned games to lay to waste. Trilogy is (in 90% of the cases) basically meant for people that never played the game and this way they are offering "All in One" package for somewhat less price than you would pay if you were buying all 3 separately. Not to mention that, even if I get to the point where I want to play one of those games, I will be forced to install all 3 of them and not only one. So, sorry to say it like that but, no thanks. I don't like wasting perfectly good disks. I could try to "reverse engineer" ME3 conversion to work with ME2+DLCs but it would probably take some time because the lack of time and because I wouldn't know how to set up registry entries if there are any because I am not that skilled with registry crap. I am not asking for anything fancy. Just a classic installation with maybe few pictures changing in background. That's all. |
