Once and for all!

My problem is to make a working backup from FF9 (ger). And yes, I've already read the comments in the other topics: I've always read, that the only way to make a working backup of FF9 is CloneCD. I tried it serveral times now, and it don't work! The game will load up, but each time a FMV starts, the screen turns black (but the sound still plays). And the strange think is, that if i open the CD-lid and close it, the game continous. So actually I can play the game, but can't see the FMV. But like I said, even if the game stops, each time a FMV will starts, i can still progress with the game by opening and closing the cd-lid. And yes, my CD-Writer (Teac W512EB) is 100% CloneCD compaltible.
So can someone tell me exactly (and I mean it), which option he uses for reading and burning and for example the burning speed, the CD brand...
I tried it 6 times now, and it's always the same prob! So everyone, who could make a working backup of FF9 please help.
