Probs copying fifa2001 & ssx for ps2..advice needed

To start with I have a ps2 with neo2 modchip and ar2. All other ea sports games copy and load no probs, but fifa 2001 doesn't. The disk speeds up as if it is going to load, but screen stays black. I have tried ea method etc....same with ssx. I have tried copying both games several times with cdrwin & clone cd, at 1x,2x,4x and 8x. I have tried different media still no change....any thoughts please ne1, much appreciated.

been a couple of days now, and no reply as yet... has ne1 else had this problem or ne1 copied them ok?? come on guys give me some input!!

Hey man, I see no one got back to you on this yet...

I copied Fifa today, no problems loading it up. But I dont have a neo chip, I have a regular 8 wire modchip. Yet, even with the 8 wire chip I have to do my boot the long way for FIFA.. heres what worked for me, give it a try.

Put in gameshark cd, power down. Power up, and keep HOLDING IN the power button.

Start game with/without codes. When it says to insert the cd, let go of the power button, and the tray will eject.

Quickly swap the GS cd with your copy and let tray close on its own. Instead of pressing "X" to boot, press "L1, L2, O" ALL TOGETHER AT ONCE, and hold until screen goes black.

After that it boots for me.

Had bother backin ssx PAL too. in fact it didnt. cd clone or cdrwin would not read the cd it got to 57 or 58% then just wouldnt go any longer. There was a scratch in the cd but i think that was nearer the outside. it wasnt that bad so i dont think it was because of the scratch.

Anybody else have that problem?
