How can I burn a DVD PS2 game?????

I have heard that you need a DVD burner or writer, but how can you get a backup copy? I know that you also need a DVD disk and all but the all the software that's out right now doesn't seem to have the "capabilities" to backup PS2 games? Can anyone tell me I'm wrong and what program I can use to do this? By the way, I have a Toshiba 9.2 Gb DVD writer.

OK what you do is put the dvd into your dvdrom and copy all the files to your HD. Then you rip out the large movie files to reduce the size. then you burn it onto a normal cd. this is it in a nutshell but there is funky stuff you have to do along the way.
Take a look here for full info
