mitsumi writer !!!

i have a mitsumi 4805 te cd writer i use clone cd a lot and all the ##### boxes are open (read sub channel data audio, read sub channel data, and don't repair sub channel data) it allows me to tick them BUT when my backup has nearly finished i get a message saying that my writer cannot read sub channel data/audio so why does it let me tick them?
can anyone help

what are you trying to copy is it the original game because some games you don't need to ##### sudchannel data & audio (it sounds to me you are trying to copy a copy game which is protected by freelock)
