Copying playstation games
last ngiht i tried to make a copy of smackdown 2 for cousin by doing a cd to cd copy it was successful. however when i out the cdr in that had the copy of the game and i turned on playstation it said insert a playstation game. I have the 9000 series of the playsation befroe ps one and i have a iomega preadator. Also a freind of mine made a copy of a ps game and the it worked for here and played. What am i doing wrong or need to do?

What program were you using? I'm new to this game and was using Adptec easy cd creator which was totally useless!! eventually found a site and now use cdrwin or clonecd

nero is the best way and i hink u need a pach for smack down 2 anyway u can get it from psx copy world it copied perfect for me though

Use CDRWin or CDClone (if you burner is 100% compatable!), if not compatable with CDClone then CDRWin is the one!
From what you described you were recording on the fly and this will only result in coasters when backing up PSX titles. Always create an image file first and then burn after. You will also need to create an image file if you need/want to apply a patch for which Nero is not suitable. You will also require the PPF-O-Matic patch engine to apply any required patch to the image file created with CDRWin.
