VCD

can a PAL playstation play VCDs. i know there is a piece of equipment that plugs onto the back but is it neccessary?
can you play VCD on Pc? does it need a good spec Pc to run smoothly???

Well yes and yes!

The original psx can play vcd's but you are right about the accessory you need to plug in, this is a must!

On the PC, well you dont realy need anything fancy to play back vcd's smoothly if you keep the window smaller than full screen, i used to run an AMD K6-2 450 with a standard 4 meg video card and it worked fine with windows media player. Just keep the window small!
