complete novice needs help

i want to make backups of my games,heard that you have to do a mirror ,dont know how to ,step by step guidance is required please

big thanx to all who helped i have all the info i need now, as for those who think novices should not be entertained i hope you have to learn something new in the future
and i hope some one helps you so that you can reflect on your comments

yes ,gameshark2 for the US PS2, AR2 for the UK version.
