Backing up with Nero...

Anyone here had success making a copy with Nero 5.0? I tried making a copy of DDR 2nd Mix, but the copy won't load beyond the warning screen (not the one that pops up after detecting any modifications to your system). Any thoughts?
I have a Cendyne 12X10X32 CD-RW, using Nero 5.0. Also, anyone knows where I can get the patch for DDR 2nd mix? Thanks.

You said you had a warning screen pop up (but not the one that warns of modifications), what warning are you getting?

I suspect that the game is protected and the warning you are getting is relating to this, you will have to apply a patch to fix this and you would be better off using CDRWin to create an image before patching with PPF-O-Matic.

why use nero if u can use cdrwin, blindread, and clonecd. nero is crap !!!
it cant even get past protections!! cdrwin can with patches, clone can, and blindread works with cdrwin so these programs are all better than nero!!!!
also, never have cdrwin and nero on at the same time!!!

I would love to use CDRWin, unfortunatly my Recorder isn't compatable with it, and that pisses me off. Thanks though.

BOT is on a distinguished road
Have you tried downloading and installing the firmware upgrade for this drive?
It is available from

####://www.cendyne.com/support/downloads/firmware/rico12x10x32/download.htm

It appears this drive is actually a Ricoh of some sort as these upgrade files are all Ricoh.

i had problems with nero when i first used it, what you need to do is go to the file menu, then preferences, and in the general tab, un##### "##### for correct CD format before burning"
and "##### joilet filenames before burning"...

after i had un#####ed both of them, nero never failed to back up anything
