Chrono Cross

Chrono Cross copied perfectly, but when it asks to switch discs in the middle of the game, the game won't continue after i put in disc 2. Can someone tell me how to fix this?

I just mentioned this in another post I replied to... funny.

I use a plugmod (external mod chip), so I'm not exactly positive whether or not the same thing will work for an internal mod (if you have one). I had to preform a double swap to get the second disc to work (same with Metal Gear Solid, now that I think about it...)

Anyway, what you do is that when it asks for disc 2 you have to open up the lid, take out whatever is depressing the lid sensor (if you have a plugmod), and take out disc 1.

Then you have to put an original black-backed disc in, replace whatever is depressing the lid sensor, and wait for the original disc to start spinning. It'll first spin fast, then slow, then fast again.

When it begins spinning fast that second time, pop out the original and pop in the backed up disc 2 and it should work.

Now that I'm reading this (and going back through some notes I keep on stuff like this), I'm realizing that this is only a single swap trick, which is a hell of a lot easier than the double swap.

But anyway, that's how to do it (at least, that's how I'd do it using my plugmod). Hope this helps.
