Rhem 1 NoCD inquiry

Hey there. Can I please ask some good soul to remove the CD check from Rhem, the first one? It seems to be located at the very end of the EXE file as in Rhem 2, but all my trials have come to naught. Perhaps one of the regular forumers would be able to help me?

Exe unpacks a shitload of dlls into a temporary folder at startup, and in one .dll, namely FileXtra3.x32 is the disc check.

yup, think its flash or something, appended data looks like the script, and looks to have a guessable structure, size, filename etc..

Hexes on the lowest parts of the file. They are almost identical to Rhem2's executable. I tried to modify in a similar way, but... ergh. Crashes, crashes, crashes. Curses, Curses, Curses.

Just compare the size of the unpacked files with size of the .exes overlay - there definitly packed. They have to be unpacked before patching...

The exe unpacks only a few X32 and DLL files but does not unpack the entriety of itself.

...but disc check is in an unpacked .x32 file. The exe itself got only 44KB and is only an unpacker / loader for the appended data.
