just to know. the expansion still use the FADE protection like the base game or not? seem like the FADE isn't reported SecuROM v7 (v7.42.0001) + SecuROM PA + Serial

someone have posted a video solution for the fade on youtube so just i asked. i not sure that this expansion is securom + fade as well.

there is a big difference. if it does not use fade at all and it is securom only you still can play cracked without getting broken your play

You dont know Securom triggers, Vinto.
They have alsmost the same effect on gameplay like fade.

Yep i know but the securom triggers aren't then anyway tied to the key. them are inside the .exe and can be well removed (RELOADED or VITALITY always have removed securom triggers when there was for example Mass Effect or Dead Space o GTA IV). Different with the fade it is tied to the key and can't be removed anyway. Of course always better a fade that a Ubi drm or steam where with a full server use there is nothing to crack or to remove

We just do not know if FADE or SecuROM Triggers are implemented therefor it is not mentioned as the protection

I have not seen any complaints about game degradation or weird happenings

Then await his decision and we know if there are triggers or not.

securom triggers are generally into the exe different from the fade that is tied to the key and it active itself when you use an used key. for example the GENESIS toy story 3 crack is bugged there is a trigger into the exe that you can't launch the soldier into the Andy's House. this is of course tied to the .exe infact the RELOADED work flawless

ok i tried the game patched to 1.52 with the MiniImages and found no problems with fade so far. maybe they can add it with next patches just like done with the 1.05 ARMA 2 patch. we will see. anyway this game is so bugged itself and need a bunch of patches and beta patches and you can't then know which bugs are fade protection and which game related lol

I installed the 1.52 patch but mounting the mini image (for 1.51) found on GCW using daemon tools lite causes it to detect emulations software. Did you use a specific mini image found somewhere else for 1.52, or were you using different software to mount the image?

Any info would be much appreciated.

i used Minimage (you can use it for all next patches) downloaded here on GCw and DT PRO. DT lite don't know if them works but DT PRO are better. YASU isn't necessary for me

DTLite with yasu is not working for everyone. Works for me for everything.

And i think you dont know the point of mini-images if u think they are for some kind of version of the game ^^

running the mini-images you are running the original exe and the original game except for the key so of course every patch and every version of the game will works. this is then usefull above all for triggers when cracks don't help
