Act of War VISTA Fix

Hey
I'm currently looking for some help
I have found out that act of war and the expansion wont run in vista with more then 3gb of ram
the thing is that vista 32 bit only supports 2gb of ram
so it should work
does anyone have a fix for this or able to make one?

use the Application Compatibility Toolkit

Create a new Profile for your game and include the "GlobalMemoryStatus2GB" so the game will think you have 2GB RAM or the "GlobalMemoryStatusLie"

just tried it
it seems to complicated
i cant get it to connect to a sql server

I'll install the game and then write down the steps but I think you need to create a new profile based on the one you have.
I'll let you know how to do it.

hey mate
another issue
the game wont work with video cards with high video memory
mine has 1gb ddr3 and its detecting 1.6gb of video ram and shits out
is there a way to fix this?

turns out the ram thing was actually the video card ram issue
but i thought it was the system ram as thats all i could find issues on and none of video ram
