problems with a backup version of final fantesy tactics

hi i have a problem with my backup cd. i had made the copy from my original but when i tries to run it on my computer it didn't work. so i tried to make another copy but this time i copyed whe whole original cd to my hard drive and then tried again to make a back up but the same thing happoned. how do i make a working copy of final fantesy tactics from the files on my computer? im using winoncd v3.7 im from the U.S. can anyone help me? thanx
