hello
purple sided discs??????

The game that I am trying to backup for my playstation 2 is purple on the bottom. I heard that you need a "special" writer and that double density disk to be able to burn these games. I have a Samsung 308BEB 8x/8x/4x/32x and a 5.2 GB double density disk. Has anyone been able to backup these games perfectly with this writer? Would a Toshiba SD-R1002 4x4x4x24x be better? I am trying to decide what program can I use and what settings should I use for this backup process? If you know how, on either writer, please reaply and tell me how to do it. Thanks a lot for your help!!!!!

Man, if you got a DD writer drive, then you can do it. In still waiting for the DD drive to be released in the US.
