Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening v1.03 +7 TRAINER (brewers)

Having real trouble getting the recent v1.03 trainers from brewers working.

Doing the usual stuff, run as admin, disable AV (using microsoft se) etc.
Im using the retail versions of the games with nocd from razor on windows 7 64bit.

The keys simply do nothing at all and unless i run the game as admin the trainer doesnt even seem to recognise that the game is running. (trainer music doesnt auto shut off)

Anyone know if its a trainer problem or something im missing?

Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure if trainers in general are supposed to run under 64-bit Windows.

Hmm ok!

In general though (from my own experience) I rarely have issues with trainers not working as described above. It tends to be crashes instead.

I can understand if it hasnt been tested under 64bit and that is causing the problem, in which case I can only hope it gets looked at or someone else makes a trainer.

Pretty please =)

training in x64, providing the process to be trained is an x86 process (which it probably is) should have 0 difference when compared to x32...

or of course there is always the possibility the trainer wasn't designed for the razor release no-cd.. it might be designed for one of the others (if there are any) cracks.. i think in brewers stuff it states this in the nfo...

In this case, cracked or not doesnt matter, "protection" is only a dvd check.

Indeed. But it is always worth checking this. As you'll no doubt know, cracks can add new sections to the .exe or alter section info (such as size). If a trainer maker has opted to use these areas, then users of the original (non-fixed) version may have issues, due the code caves been written into space which either doesn't exist or isn't as expected. This is particularly the case with SecuROM titles which the majority of protected discs still use.

I know for a fact that this isn't the case with Brewers though, having said that, as they don't write to specific fixed code caves. Rather .dll injection is used (so allocated memory which is always going to be free and usable).

There has been multiple occasions in the past when the question has come up:
"Can cracks make a difference to the working of a trainer?"
And the simple answer is yes, it can do. But it depends on the fixed file itself and/or how the coder has opted to do the hacks.

Well i had the same problem but everything is working now. Run the trainer in Xp Sp2 mode and as admin, it should work.
