Something special required for EA Sports psx games?

I was just wondering cuz I copied Nascar2000 and it seemed to work fine until the game loading process. The load time is way way too long. I let it go 15 minutes and it still hadn't loaded 10% of the game. I used the latest version of CloneCD and my burner is a LG 8120B. Any suggestions or insight. Thanks

dont know about nascar but the football and hockey both need patches
