Problems burning using CUE sheet
I'm using CDRWIN. Everytime I try to burn a PS2 game using the CUE sheet that comes along with the BIN file, I get a Write command failed.
But if I burn it loading the bin file as an audio track, it burns fine. Problem is that some games don't seem to load if I burn it as Audio track, but some do. I have a JVC 2010 that only burns at an incredible 2x . I see the difference between the 2 methods is that one will be a MODE 2 CD and the other will be audio CD, does that mean my CD burner cannot support MODE 2 ?? |

Try scaning the file for corruption using fireburner before burning. You are using a older burner that isn't supported by clone cd so cdrwin is the best software for you to use, be sure error recovery is set to abort and raw is checked .

Nightstalker isn't usually wrong but I only slightly beg to differ.
He's right in that JVC 2010 is not in the CloneCD compatible list; but many burners that work aren't in the list and work. So it's worth a try to have CloneCD do this functionality test for you. As you have a Mode 2 cue sheet, you shouldn't have to set CDRWin burning parameters to RAW. I use this setting if I don't have a cue file and CDRWin usually gives an error message if you manually set it and the cue file is mode 2. |

Raw should always be checked when reading. To my knowledge if you cannot read and write raw data then the backup won't work.

Nightstalker and I are in agreement.
