alien res. and driver 2 CD1 backups

1/ ALien res. protected or not ...
2/ Driver 2 cd1 dont want to be reading along 90%, so can't be writing ... why? The second CD backup work fine...

in response to your question number 2:

sounds like a scratched disk to me, if this is the case and u r using CDRWIN then do the following -

change the *error recovery* setting to 'replace' which will fill the unreadable sector with a block of zeros. CDRWIN should then finish the read and the image can then be burned to the disc.

I copyed both games with cdrwin and didnt have any problems, like 4nim4l said,you probally have a scrached or damaged source disc. Good luck!!!

i backed up alien res no probs did'nt have to patch it as for driver 2 i think your disk may be knackered so try cdrwin error recovery tick replace it may work good luck
