u say it scratches the disc? did u chip the ps2 yourself? Remember the ps2 does not correct the cd by pushing it back into the tray like most cd-roms do, so if when the ps2 was chipped, the casing, cd-tray or something else got re-aligned in the machine it will probably be whats causing the problem.
I could be going off at a tangent here, but scratched discs seems to be a common issue with the ps2. 4nim4l. Also remember, discs will get scratched is the ps2 is at an angle (ie not layed flat or standing up) and also if u move the ps2 to a different position while it is turned on. |
