PS2 speed copy

Anybody knows what's the best speed record to make a PS2 backup? Can I make a backup with 4x speed? Won't I have problem to run the game?
PLEASE!!!! HELP ME!!!

i burn all my games at 4 speed because thats all my writer supports, but u can write at any speed as long as the disc u r burning on supports it (it'll usually gives a list of the speeds that it can support on the front of the disc/case 4x,6x,8x,12x, etc) so as long as the disc is capable of burning at that speed then the game should be fine.

If anyone tells you that you should only copy at a speed of 1x for playstation games then ignore them, that may have been the case many years ago, but now-a-days that suggestion is a load of crap. A pretty 'decent' speed is 8x speed if u wanna play it 'safe', but any speed should be OK depending on how good the discs you are using actually are.
