Godfather 2 problems with startup

Whenever I start up my game, it keeps on giving me the window to "Re-enter and verify my Registration code." I keep on clicking done, and it keeps coming back. Then, eventually it says that there was a problem contacting the license server and that my internet connection isnt active. Can anybody help with this problem?

Sounds like your game is being blocked by a firewall, be it windows firewall or a firewall on a router if you use one.

Check the exception list on windows firewall settings, if its not listed, add it and then browsing to the folder where the game is installed and pick the game executable on the window that pops up when adding.

Also it is a legit Godfather 2 yes?

Yes it is a legit GF2. And I dropped the firewall on the game, but it's still having the same problem o.o

Do you have a router? Try connecting to the net without it, and activating GF2.

AznHylite, do you perhaps have some sort of registry cleaner running all the time? perhaps its removing the registry setting constantly.. its a long shot idea, but for some reason I keep thinking the connection to EA servers is being blocked.
