Question about burners

Can someone tell me, how do u find out which copying software is best and works ok with your burner.

I have a philips PCRW 404B and use CDRwin which
works fine until trying to backup Crash team racing
People have been saying to use cdclone. How do you no if yur burners supprts sub channel data ? as i have been told u dont need to patch games that need patching if your burner supports this

If you have Clone Cd, it will tell you if your drive supports sub channel data, just click the drive info button. Your Reader and Burner will have to both Support it, or you will have to make an image with the burner.

In your case, clonecd won't copy protected games like CTR 'cos your burner doesn't read/write subchannel data.
It also seems that philips burners can't be used to write patched UK Pal protected games with cdrwin.

Normally on the website from where you get the programme there is a compatibility list.
