me too. I have calibrated my lazer but no improvement. I have also got action replay 2 which improves the boot but not 100%. I'm going to get some expensive disks to burn on next. thought about verbatim cause they the best.

Hicky the patch-it prog is for converting pal to ntsc and visa versa to patch the teritory code for use on the PSONE, what led you to use it on the ps2 and why? I don't doubt you got it to work but are you sure it is the patchit prog that makes it work?
I got some Kodak disks and my back up now works. I'll prob give it a try if I find a game that's giving me problems, but can't understand why it would make a difference. anyone know more on this matter? |

could it be that the games that dont work have had their region code messed with for example when applying a copy protection patch.

OK Lazereyes, I got it working finally. It was not the quality of the disks. I just had to boot with AR2 and then select WITH CODES and not WITHOUT CODES. Game booted fine so did the ones outta the bin I chucked out yesterday.
