For those who have dvd burners

Got a pioneer ao3 dvr and finally got the thing installed , just wondering what dvdrs you guys are using for ps2 dvd backups ?

What suppiler are u using and how much £ do they cost.

Tried pioneer branded seemed alright
Tried datasafe branded but had mixed results with fmv and sound skipping.

I know that verbs are supposedly the discs to use but the price varies greatly , cheapest i could find was about £6.50@each

any input would be welcome

I've ordered a spread of the cheaper disks and we'll see. £3.75 + VAT

I've planned for writing off up to 9 of those DVDRs! By the way, the link I gave you was courtesy Dust2Dust who is currently forging ahead with his Messiah chipped PS2. He has a couple of DVDR-s I sent him (One NTSC the other PAL) which booted No Swap. These were on Pioneer media. I have a problem with that media in that the spindle hole appears to be fractionally larger than the original games and it skews on the bottom lip of the spindle when it tries to engage. I think that's a problem for Jap 10000/15000s on;y. We'll see what the chepos do.
