How do you burn copy with CDR-WIN when you don't need a patch?
1) I tryed to burn a copy of Star Wars Jedi-Powers Battles. When I use extract disc/tracks/sectors i get an error message - unable to read DATA sectors 10773 to 10799 on device 0:10 illegal command request (04 00h 02h 05h 64h 00h) all other settings seem to be set correct. I looked on my hard drive and all it is making is a cue file but no bin file. I have downloaded clone cd and it worked properly? except 1 level does not work
2) I would like to use 1 program if possible(CDR-WIN) 3) Do you still have to use ppf-omatic or not when no patch is neccessary? |

if no patch is required with cdrwin......... use both programmes .they are free.... i do. happy days... :-) |

If you cannot read the cd using CDRWin because of data errors - forget it.
The cd is no good. Clonecd may very well copy the errors but as you have seen the resulting game does not work properly. You can use ppfomatic if you want but cannot see what for as you won't have any patches to apply so it will sit there looking at you just as I sat here and shook my head reading this post! |

CDRWIN: have you tried changing the "error recover" to ignore with the read recount at 10, it may be the disc itself, does it have alot of marks on it?
once you copy the image all you have to do is load the cuesheet(it's only going to be one image file, not two files)There really aren't that many games out there that need patches if you ask me. |
