Mr Pepsi
Copy CD to CD or ????

When i make an backup of a PSX-game shall i only do a cd-cd copy or shall i first do an image-file with cd-r win.

All my backups is made with cd-r win to be sure so i can make an trainer-patch.

But if i donīt need that patch is it safe with the cd-2-cd copy.
Can i use EZ CD Creator or shall i do it with Cd-r Win ????

Thanx in advance.......... Mr Pepsi

When you neednīt patch the game of course you can make a CD-CD copy!!! You can burn nearly with every program your PS cdīs! So you can copy with EZ CD Creator, too, of course!

P.S. if your making a copy fo a copy you are ok to make a cd to cd copy (but make sure its not been copyed with cd clone as it copies the protection)always use cdrwin on psx games if you have not got cd clone

What you want to do is first determine if the game is protected or not. If it is you will want to make an image file of it and then download a patch it. for it. That way you can bypass the protection. Patch the image file and then burn It'll play fine. If there isn't a protection on it you will want to do a cd2cd copy. It's a time saver.

Boother: if you what to patch a game eg to by pass the protection or to but a cheat in or make a nstc to pal or vice-versa) you need cdrwin and ppr-o-matic. if you are using cd clone it copies the protection so there is no need to patch (you can't patch with cd clone anyway becuase you need a bin-file)
