Race Driver :GRID not executable

game is installed, crack file is replaced over the old one and the game is not running. Any idea anyone? thanks

try to set the game to compatibility with 98/Me or 2000. It seems to work for some ppl.
for others, this solution works:

Place the Racedriver GRID disc in your dvd tray but don't close it yet, click on the GRID exe icon on your desktop and you will see a window pop up asking for the disc close the dvd tray and click on retry (i use win xp pro sp3).

If I use with W98 comptability mode i could play only at 800x600, is not possible to change the resolution in the menu of the game.... This bug is caused by the game itself or the crack?

Well that is very simple to check by using your original disc to play the game! (without using any kind of crack)
If it works then you know it could 'possibly' be the crack but I really believe its not the crack.

Well... the game is not also since a lot of people, including me, can play the game flawlessly.
Anyway, a patch will be release soon and it will fix many issues reported by users in the forum. Perhaps it fix "nomg" problems - perhaps.

Well, just add "-novirtual" to the grid shortcut. Fixed at my system the problem that the game just did nothing (when using the crack) or showing for some seconds the securom cursor (spinning disc) while using original .exe - and then again did nothing.

Nothing means: No Desktop-Switching, no error-message, no hourglass... Still... Nothing.

Sorry Hagar I don't understand what do you mean "with just add "-novirtual" " it means change the name of the shortcut to GRID-novirtual if it so it doesen't work...

not the name, the path.
open the shortcut properties and to path append " -novitual" (without the quotes and leave the space)
e.g.: "C:\Program Files\Codemasters\GRiD\Grid.exe" -novirtual

Thank you I've modified the path too but it doesen't work too

I believe that i have to wait for another crack version....
