Incredibles - Rise of Underminer Crack!!!! Need HELP...

bros....
i recently pruchased the incredibles - rise of underminer...and
downloaded the no-cd crack from the site...its teh reloaded release
but still i couldnt play the game without the cd......
i even found a crack-fix (a text file) which says that copy all the
data folder from the cd2 to the installation folder 2 make the game run
without the cd.... did that 2.
but still the game just exits...till i insert the cd into the drive....

how can i play the game without the cd...

help needed.

Is your version a re-release of the game under a budget label?

If so then the binaries will be different, and old cracks wont work on it.

there is be no way to play the game without cd...

its "crackreleated" and the cd must be in drive. Regards

no my version is not a re-release.....
its the original release......

but i have read on many forums,,regarding it that the game runs without the cd..with the reloaded release...but when i tried,,it didnt....

I've got the same problem with what looks like the original THQ release (not budget) 2xCD set, I've copied all files on CD2 to the data folder in the install dir on my HD, but the game never starts, notsure if this is a crack prob or because I've copied the files over form CDE2 into the wrong place etc. Anyone got this working?

The game runs fine with no CD crack .exe, but only with CD2 inserted in my CD drive (which kinda defeats the point) I have copied all the files from the data dir on CD 2 to the data folder of the games install dir on my HD, in fcat the game crashed wiithout these files in this location EVEN with the CD inserted, Strange, maybe there's some securom thing going on..?

Don't want to use Alcholol etc, just wanted a working no cd .exe to keep things simple. The prob maybe with where I'm copying the contents of the data folder on CD2 too in the game's install directory (there's already a folder named data there, so Im just copying all the files from CD2/data into it.

well if its 'smart' it will try and load the files from the cd/dvd drive, which would make the copying useless, or it has a simple cd/dvd check in it.. it exits when you don't have the cd/dvd in the drive? or does it do a messagebox?

i checked it out....
it checks for 3 files on the cd....
doesnt matter whether u copy the 3 files in the inst folder,,,,or not..
it still loads the files,,,from the cd....
2 over come this there is a cd check.....
just have 2 crack it......and its over...its very simple....
i was goin 2...but dont have time rt now......

sounds like a simple check -> GetDriveTypeA probably -> get letter -> do a wsprintf of it %s:\blah.txt or %c:\blah.txt -> CreateFile etc.. hardly rocket science

if i had the files i'd have a look but i don't.. so i won't

Really appreciate the reply's, trying to work with what you've told me, but don't really have an understanding of the terms you metioned (e.g wsprintf) but reseacrhing now. One thing I noticed is that there's a file installed in the game Dir thats also on CD2 called Boot.ini which is over 30 MB bigger on the CD, I've tried copying this to the game directory (overwiring the original game.ini) but with no joy.

won't work, what i meant was it sounds like its dynamically building the filename to check ... so copying the file's simply won't do it...

if you like make me a rar file of the exe+dlls (minimal to work from) and the dir listings (dir /s > cd1.txt) from the cd's/dvd's and i'll take a look (simply because im in a good mood today)... oh yeah, and pm me the link or something too because i can't read minds (yet...)
