Installed gamegizmo 8 wire mod chip now playstation wll not recognize any disc's

As I say above installed 2 mod chips 1 in a 5000 model psx an 1 in a 9000 psx model start up the playstations both say the same thing "please insert Playstation CDROM" checked the connections over and over cannot find any problems.. asking anyone have you had the same problems with these chips from Gamegizmo. Is it the chips, or am I doing something wrong....

I have the same problem with my 7501 model using a modchip

from Chipzone, only my system worked normally the first time I

tried. But only the first time. Have you solved your problem???

I sugest you to check the conections to see if they are touching other contacts,also take the chip out & if the playstation works maybe the chip is damaged.

Also that has happened to me a few times but just fixed it turning the thing off or just using the reset.
