Need help

Hey all...i'm just wondering...all i need to run these back-ups is a mod chip (i'm getting an external cuz no1 in my family wants 2 mess up my PSX) and my back-ups will run right? I've already burned games so i'm wondering if that's all i'll need. My bro seems to think i need like, a boot disk like DCs do. Is he right? Thanks all!

to play backups on psx you need 1st to have your cuz mess up your psx with the mod chip <simple and easy to do>
then you need to copy your game and everythings fine. Some games need to be patched to work due to protection used on the original. this link will give you a list of games that need patches. ####://www.geocities.com/akahomeruk/

The psx does not require a boot disc. The PSone latest small model may require a boot disc to boot some games, its a bit more clever.

If you have the old playstation then you can use the external mod, but you will have to swap the games with an orignal, with the mod inside the psx it will boot the games without the swap trick,
If you have a newer psx then you will not be able to use the external mod chip.

When you say i need to swap a burned copy with an original if i use an external chip, do you mean the original game or any original game? Cuz i don't mind doing that.

ANY ORIGINAL, EVEN A DEMO DISK FROM A MAGAZINE WILL WORK.
