Exclamation Crysis and SoF Payback won't load (they did B4)

About 2 weeks ago I installed and played "Crysis" and "Soldier of Fortune: Payback" and they both ran OK

I just formatted my HD, installed the games and the video card's latest drivers and the latest DirectX and they won't load

I click on the icons and they just kind of "blink" but nothing happens. They Won't start at all.

I have a

Pentium 4 2.8 Ghz with Hyper-Threading Technology
1 GB of Ram DDR
ATI x1600 Pro AGP Video Card
Two 250 GB Hard Drives
DL-DVD Recorder

I hope someone can help me on this one.

Thank you in avdance, guys

Is this with a crack or the original files and disc? Did you install the Visual C++ Redistributable found on the Crysis DVD in the vc80_redist folder?

Also, for a test, instead of using the desktop icons, launch the executables directly.

I did use a NoDVD Crack.
When I installed Crysis I installed it as usual (clicking next, next, etc.) but I never saw any Visual C++ Redistributable while installing. IŽll check it out.
I did try clicking directly on the .exes with the same results.
I own and play a lot of FPS PC Games and I usually have no problems....I even uninstalled and re-installed both games

I forgot to say that this comes up after I click on the Crysis .exe :

" Unsupported video card!
""[vendor=0x0000,device=0x0000]
Continuing to run might lead to unexpected results or crashes.
OK / Cancel "

I click OK but nothing happens. As I said before, I have played both games with the same Hardware, so the Video card does support them.

Thanks for the quick replies

You obviously have some problem with your graphics card. Do you have the latest drivers or the ones that came with the card?

It seems to me in this case he will have to downgrade the drivers coz he said were working fine before format that must be used some old drivers so he formated and then downloaded the newest ones that seems are giving him problems

That or maybe update direct x. If if the Vista bundled DX9 wrapped on DX10 is a pile of crap, You need to download and isntall DX 9.0c or DX10 anyways . But for the other hand Cryisis is supposed to compatibie with DX 10 but i don't know if the ATI card he as is DX10 compliant or just DX9 + I don't have expericence with those games I don't have them
