WWF Smackdown 2 (PSX1) Help Please!

Made 2 copies using CloneCD and 1 using Adaptec CD Copier, and both are unreadable. Place them in the PSX1 and memory card/cdplayer menu comes up. Put them back in my CD-ROM and it just spins, unable to read anything. Please help. BTW I have a mod chip.

It could be loads of stuff:

Did you copy the CD at x1 speed?
Did you read sub code and write uncorrected in clonecd?
Are you useing good cd's?
Is the original readable?

I found the solution (after waisting 3 CD-R). I made an image using Adaptec EZ CD Creator. Opened program, added files off of Smackdown as you would if you were adding files off your hard drive, and labled it the same as Smackdown. It read 684mb, whereas with CloneCD and Adaptec CD Copier, it only read 619mb? Copied to an 80 min. and it worked. With CloneCD & Adaptec CD Copier, I used 74 min. with no warning that it was too small. It didn't overwrite either, because you can see on the media where it stopped. Why didn't CloneCd & Adaptec recognize it as 684? It's not like these were hidden files. I'm confused but glad it finally worked.

I might also add, that even though I didn't try to copy Smackdown with CDRWIN, it also didn't read the entire contents. It read 70.34 minutes. which is less than 650mb.

All I did was pop the origional into my cd drive. put a blank into my cdr/rw. Openuped up clonecd. Didn't mess with any settings, (i have never had to change any settings at all and ive renteded and burned 35 games so far) and pushed copy cds, in half an hour i had a burnt disc. Wrote smackdown 2 psx with a magic marker, put it in my playstation, started playing.

WWF Smackdown 2 was the first game I copied.. about 4 days ago. I just used CDRWIN and left all settings at default and copied at 1 X speed. Mind you I am using 730MB discs though I don't think it makes any difference.

Hope this helps
All the Best
Mike

This game crashes at King of The Ring in carrier mode "Season" but if you play normal king of the ring its ok. Not sure if this is protection or just a bug. ;D
