yeah, thats correct. But you gotta be really luck for CdClone to support your cd-rw drives. It only support limited makes and models which really sucks.

clone is king IF your hardware is supported, check here ####://home.onet.co.uk/~cloneclinic/hardware.htm
if you already have clone cd then give it a try.when reading to image tick both read subchannel box's and don't read to fast, maybe X8
have a look at the log when you have started if it says your reader does not support reading the subchannels, then that reader is not supported, try a different one(if you have one).
on write image to disk then tick -don't repair subs, if this box is greyed out then your writer is not supported,if you have a choice in the "write mode"box then always choose DAO
good luck

I just used cloneCD to make a copy of the first disk on FF9. it burned fine. when i set up my game enhancer and after putting in a PS game, waiting for it to stop spinning then putting in FF9, it just stayed at the "start" screen instead of starting the game. now im ticked that i wasted a cd (i know there cheap but still...) and cant play the game. any ideas? i do have nero and cdrwin, but since clonecd works with my hardware i used that.

Thanks, Finally got a download of cloneCD and am now downloading the PSX utility boot disk.....should have a working copy maybe tonight..Then I'll try the swap trick?? If that doesn't work, will try to see if the station will read a backup anyways..Maybe I have one that's old enough to work without a mod chip....I did wait in line at Walmart for the 12 Midnight release on Oct. for the thing....I'll let you guys know it it was old enough sometime soon.
