burning .bin files

I am trying to back up a copy of dave mirra's freestyle bmx. I was using cdr-win but after loading the cue file i get an error saying "unable to open file davemirra.bin" I editted the cue file and it is definitely pointing at the .bin file.
I then used fire burner and it seemed to work but when i tried the game it just went to memory card screen.. Im lost any help would be apreciated..

*a) stuffed up the image
*b) applied the wrong patch
*c) your burner doesnt like psx games
these things happen and cannot be helped! for instance my burner will not work with cdrwin, will burn at 1 speed only on fireburner but works brilliant;y with clonecd! (all programs are registered!)

cdrwin has read by 'one' and burn by 'one',
when you use cdrwin select the third box in and select the cue sheet option, where it asks where to save, save to your hard drive and save it as a .BIN file, eg NHL2000.BIN(yes write it in uppercase), and remember, select read by one and write by one,
Two files will be written to your hard drive in the folder you selected for the .BIN file, one of these will be a cue file.
Once that is done then select the first box of cdrwin and it will ask for the cue sheet to load, go to the folder where you put your .BIN file and it will automatically accept the cue file. Burn away at one speed
