psx copy

I have cdrwin version 3.8 and am unable to copy psx games with my burner (hival 4432a). Do I need anyother software? I've been to www.playstationfun.com and followed their instructions for cdr 3.7 but still no joy.. can u help?

Make sure you have either the demo version and burn at single speed or if you have a serial, make sure it is not a dud. If in doubt try a different keygen to get a working serial.
In cdrwin use the install defaults and change the speed. also make sure the game is not protected. If it is it needs to be patched.

sorry sarge but i disagree, cdrwin and nero burning rom are 2 of the best PSX copying software available. what you need to do to get the software to burn correctly is update your firmware.I had the same problems with my acer cdrw but after i updated its firmware i can copy PSX games with clone cd,cdrwin,nero,winoncd,nti cd maker,disc juggler and adaptec easy cd creator. Hope this helps!

CloneCd is no solution since it doesnt work for many many people. CloneCd better become more compatible or they are just gonna go down as new and more powerful software packages come out.
Make sure you have a working keygen for cdrwin, if you dont it will just burn a coaster and waste your cd's.

i've just joined this fascinating world of psx its cool i have a mod chip as well but i can't copy resident evil i tried using cdrwin but ihave wasted 10 cd already ..what do you mean by updating your firmware ?????
