I have the latest patch from Paradox,
which claims it is the perfect 100% patch.... BUT... ...it's NOT!! SORRY PARADOX, call BABYDOCK back from the yacht to once more work on a 100% Spyro3 PAL patch!! Same problems occur, changes language, eggs dissappear etc. Hopefully someone will produce a 100% PAL Spyro3 patch SOON!!!

En Östersundsbo? Det var som sjutton... Testa PDX 100% crack. Den funkar ok för mig så här långt, men har tydligen krånglat för vissa... Om inte megagames har uppdaterat så finns den på www.gamefreax.de.

Agreed , the 100% patch is no better than the first one they ****ed up .
I only got 6% in and i got that poxy fairy telling me i was playing a hacked version blah blah . |

I just completed about 7%, but I haven't seen this mentioned fairy until now.
I got two friends now, hanging on ropes at the gondola of the baloon. But I've got another problem, where I guess that it's related to a read error of my genuine image: When I get the second egg in this lava-world, where the little guy says that yesterday evening they've been given by somebody in the tiki-lodge, my psone starts seeking endlessly at the cd (as if there is a bad sector, and the psone tries to read the sector again... and again... and again...). Or is there anyone else with the same problem ??? |

Sorry Gandalf,
I think this error must be due to either a read error when creating your .bin file or a write error when burning!!  I haven't had any error like this & I'm 56% through the game on world 3!! Although I still get the fairy, disappearing eggs etc HELP US PARADOX, BAD! My PSX is SCPH-1002, I don't know what version MOD Chip I have, but I read that the hack works on some Playstations!! ANYONE ELSE GETTING THE FAIRY, WHAT MODEL PSX & MOD CHIP DO YOU HAVE?? (Maybe this info can help Paradox create a 1000% patch)

Hello LeeSim,
yes, you're right. I just ripped the original cd a second and a third time at low speed and compared it with my first dump. And what do you guess: 10 bytes difference (following each other) between my first read and both (identic) ones at low speed. Now I've no hangup as I had before. Furthermore (except from a mystic center problem while heading up to the tower where the girlfriend of the little koala-like goblin is waiting) I've no problems here. No fairy (even so there are 3 pals hanging on ropes down the gondola of the baloon), no vanishing eggs and no language switching. The paradox-patch really seems to work for me. System: PSOne scph 102, 6-wire modchip without stealth (hex file could be found at the bottom of: ####://www.angelfire.com/or2/PSOne/ ) Gandalf |

Not sure what version of modchip, haven't checked what version of PS, the patch seems to work apart from changing languages. Have seen no fairy or anything strange happening - or rather my son hasn't reported anything yet. Think he's around 30% through. A reset and reload sorts the language switch - for a while anyway!

My girls got the same problems, changing languages, the fairy speech,losing eggs and so on. However, they managed to complete 85 percent of the game with about 120 eggs found. What followed they couldn't believe. They found themselves back at the start of the game with no eggs and 0 percent completed. Everything was deleted completely. I mean everything,so a word of advise,Be prepared.

I think the old patch had that problem as well . It makes you wonder if this is the old patch with a new front end on .
As for the nfo stating in depth testing i find that very hard to believe , i have found its impossible to dodge the fairy on the first world no matter what i do . PDX are pretty good normally and i can't see them making the same **** up twice , i wonder if this really is a PDX patch . ??? |

I have an ORIGINAL Spryo III CD - but I couldn't play it because of the Mod protection.
I use the GS CD with Anti-Mod codes. I did get the fairy on World I talking about a hacked version. My daughter got the fairy - and she's on World II and about 40% complete. So far, so good. |

I have tried to patch spyro 3 but after i patched it the game did not work at all
Why was this i created a bin file of it then patched it with ppf o matic then i copied it back to a cd at 1 speed and it still does not work Please e-mail me at [email protected] if you know why this my first time patching a game if it helps Please e-mail me!!!! |

i have got a plexstor writer and use cd clone and the game stills crashes when entering one of the worlds and i have try it at all speeds so spyro 3 is a no no yet
