dino crisis and other games

i have a hp 7500+ series cd-rewriter and cdrwin. I created an image file of the original dino crisis psx cd and downloaded the patch. They were to remove the protection and two trainers or something??(what are trainers?)

I used applyppf and applied the patch and had a patched successfully message. I then burnt the image back to a cd-r.

The game loads up, shows a message about the scens of blood and shit then nothing else happens!!

Please help!!

Trnrs are cheats m8y. You know infinite ammo etc.
You did use the right patch, didn't you???
