Well, the names are often mixed up. AFAIK the Ghost Recon Series is inspired by Tom Clancy, but not placed in the Rainbow Six universe. But I might be wrong here ;-D

There are several games released under the Ghost Recon label. Have a look at this Wikipedia article:

- Fixed a bug that prevented picking up weapons when taking a dropped weapon from somebody who was in zoom mode when killed.
- Fixed the secondary console that was assigned to the quote character by default.
- Fixed the radar jammer sound that stays even after death.
- Fixed the floating C4 explosive and motion sensor floating when put on breakable items.
- Fixed the menu problem when mapping the [End] key.
- Fixed the chat so that it does not trigger actions when typing.
- Fixed a problem after picking-up a weapon on the ground equipped with laser beam.
- Fixed the canister that resets in Retrieval when the carrier is killed while taking cover.
- Fixed a Retrieval mode bug that caused a 2nd match from having no reachable canister.
- Fixed a bug that caused the user to lose his weapon without picking-up the one on the ground.
- Fixed some incorrect mapping messages.
- Added a check to warn the user if an instance of the game is already running.

yo guys, most probably off topic but, i can't patch the game to 1.02....they gave the error "could not retrieve version number" pls help? thks!

Did you applied any crack for v1.0? If yes, you need a game reinstall. Always backup the files that the crack overwrites.That way, when a new patch comes out, you just put the original files back, apply the new patch(again backup the files that you are gonna overwrite), apply crack.

thks for the reply, yeah i know what u mean...i think mine is already the cracked version. I know this because after i install the game, i didn't have to do any copy and replace crack. So, basically what you are trying to say is that i need the original exe before the crack right? The problem is, i don't know how to get it....^_^ thank you

You get it from your original DVD, of course...

I loved rogue spear when you could watch yourself after a misssion going around assasinating everyone.

I've patched up to 1.03, using the No-CD no problem. Have used several tweaks for shadows, blur settings set to off. Still getting F-Up frame rates. Pretty cool game except when I have a mexican terrorists come up on me and I turn to shoot him with my combat shotgun and its like I'm on acid or something as the gun goes in slow motion right past him. My 6600 isn't cutting it anymore.

turn shadows off then your pos 6600 can maybe see some improvement
