need help with gameday 2001!

i rented gameday 2001, and it won't play on my psx cuz it says it has been modified. does this mean i can't burn it? if i make a copy of it, then will it work.. also, i don't know if this game needs a patch, and if so, then i do not know how to use the patch once i get it...

there is a patch a megagames.com. it says that it wont work but it does, i used it for me as well as for several friends!

just make sure that you get all three files. the three files have the extensions .rar, .r00, .r01

once you have all three it start the extraction with the file extension .rar it will then create a ppf file that will remove the protection.
