Yes I understand what you are saying.  What I mean is most 'ranked' servers have now gone to v1.41 so unless you also run v1.41 then you wont be able to play on them if you are still using v1.40. And most (if not all) of the ranked servers now run v1.41. They are in my part of the world anyway.
