ok...I have the serial number for popt2t but cd is scratched...so how do I get past that cd check thing? The use of the word "thing" should alert you to my proficiency in "program-lish". I'm sure this is a question that has been answered in many places but do you think I can find it?! no would be the answer to that.

so even if you quote or redirect me that would be a big help...if i had to choose between reading the entire thread or browsing the entire FAQ and buying a new CD guess what. I'd buy a new CD .

@dmanshu: The publisher will most probably give you a replacement for a lower fee than buying a new CD, if you have a proof of purchase (e.g. you send back the damaged original to them). Ask them for details.

Game using original DVD works fine.

A comment. Why isn't this question repeated to everyone who posts here? Why just me? Why did you assume I was the only one here who wouldn't know this? Simply because I used colour in my very post on this forum?

What should I do if the game doesn't work properly with a crack?
If the original game works but the cracked game doesn't, report it to the forum. In your report, include, at least, the following information:

• for a downloaded crack, exact name of downloaded crack (name, version and language of the game; type of crack; name of the group that released the crack), taken from the download page (alternatively, you can provide the URL of the download page);
• for a backup CD/DVD you made yourself, name and version of the CD/DVD imager/burner software, the read/write speed used and the brand of the CD/DVD disk;
• exact brand and type of motherboard, CPU, video and audio card and CD/DVD-ROM drive, amount of system RAM and video RAM, connection of CD/DVD-ROM drive (IDE, S-ATA, SCSI, USB/FireWire) (the latest release of Lavalys Everest should help you with collecting this information; unfortunately, the free Home Edition has been discontinued);
• exact name and version (or service pack number) of operating system (in the Control Panel, launch "System");
• version of video and audio card drivers:
  • Windows 95/98:
    • open Control Panel, launch "System" and go to the "Device Manager" tab;
    • open "Display adapters" or "Sound, video and game controllers", right click on the name of the video/audio card, select "Properties", go to the "Driver" tab;
    • press "Driver File Details", browse through the list of drivers and see "File version" below;
  • Windows XP:
    • enter the Device Manager:
      • on the desktop, right click on "My Computer", select "Manage" and go to "Device Manager"; or
      • enter the Control Panel, select "Administrative Tools", then "Computer Management" and go to "Device Manager"; or
      • press the Windows-Pause key combination, go to the "Hardware" tab and press "Device Manager";

Without this information, you may not be able to get proper help.

This section of FAQ is asking me to report a non-working crack to the forum. That is exactly what I tried to do. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what crack version and game version I was talking about when I reported this to the forum.

Once again, why isn't this question being asked to everyone else who is complaining here? Why just me? Simply because I used colour in my very first post?

The new reloaded crack (released on 30th September 2006) DOES NOT WORK.

It wasnt the 'color' which represented the shouting, it was the CAPITOL letters you used.

There's nothing to be said. Before, we didn't even have a NoCD. Now, we have one, though a little "censored".

Ill keep waiting for an uncensored version, and play the game again. Until then, I'll try to play it this way...

Though... you gotta admit it's a real bummer watching those guys dying so... "unceremoniously", if I spelled that one right.

damn I want to play this game uncensored badly I once started playing it even without the crack but the missing gore or sand coming out of the enemies wounds killed the entertainment.
I remember there was blood at least in the beginning, but then it changed to sand...

I think the biggest insult is the fact that the sand warriors don't go into pieces like in the uncersored version.

So eh, basically, I will have to buy the game from the US if I want to play it uncensored? Does the RELOADED crack work with the US-version?

afaik the reloaded crack is the EU cracked version. and if the censored content is in those files that are to be replaced with the EU files, you won't have anything else than with the eu version.
and if you're thinking of downloading the us version well I thought so also because I do own the EU version which would probably allow me to, but I can't find a US (3cd) version _anywhere_.
