Which nice Online-RPGs do you know?

Hi,

I want to get a new game of this genre next month.
I played some completely free games, but I didn't like them.
So it should be a game which is in a shop.
But a very important point: No monthly costs!
(Because I don't want to force me to play!)

Some people told me to get Gothic 3 or Neverwinternights 2.
Yeah, but I don't want a game which also contains an Online-mode, I want a real Online-Game like WoW, Guild Wars etc.
(No problem if the Online-Game also has an Offline-mode, f.e. this game: )
At the moment I'm thinking about Phantasy Star Universe

P.S. I already own Guild Wars, but I don't like it anymore

Open up a gold farm, e. g. for wow, than you can play for free or have a look in ebay for appropriate games.

the only MMORPG that hasn't got a monthly cost and you can buy in the shops, as far as i know is guild wars.

Neverwinter Nights is kinda ok online.


But you get what you pay for, and thats why WoW is the top of the market on MMORPG's.

Nope it was an example.

Although he wants free, I said "You get what you pay for"

As in Free isnt always the best choice :P

Eternal Lands is kind of cool. It is another free one. Kind of like Rune Stone, but different game play.

PSU is cool, for 20 minutes. I wouldn't even call it an MMO though, it is just an online RPG with 3d lobbies. You join rooms ans can only play with a max of 5 people. It is set up like Diablo 2 in a sense. But the game play is dull. I beta'd the x360 version for that limited time, and it was the most boring and repetitive game I have ever played. i had more fun running around in the lobbies.

Try this one : Archlord, FlyForFun, MapleStory, Rappelz, 9Dragons, Hero Online. I played all of them, and all are great and Free...

btw, have you tried google? xD

problem with those, and trickster is the amount of bots etc. Totally ruining the games.

Cabal Online is a good MMORPG and it is free

Archlord, FlyForFun, MapleStory, Rappelz, 9Dragons, Hero Online. I played all of them, and all are great and Free

those kind of game are ok but they get boring after a while. Anyway, there are fun to play an hour or two to kill time sometime.
