Neverwinter Nights 2 presale bonus UK

I was just wondering if anyone would be kind enough to upload the EU/UK english version of the presale bonus, the file that is currently up is for the US edition of the game.

I've actually looked in a couple of places for it but no joy so far.

Sorry for the confusion, what I'm looking for is the a European version of the
Neverwinter Nights 2 PRESALE BONUS PATCH that is currently up at gamecopy world.

Now if this is considered warez then go ahead and lock this topic, with my apologies to the mods, it's just that since this file for the US version is up I presumed that it would be ok to ask for the UK/EU english version of that file.

Sorry for any confusion caused and If I have accidently broken the rules, I just hope that someone here can get in contact with the fellas at GCW and tell them that they are hosting a Warez file if thats what a patch that enables the presale stuff is considered to be.

I doubt it can be considered a crack really, since its a free unlocker made by the bioware team, even on the official UK site they linked the patch to the USA version, grrrrrrrr.

It's a patch that unlocks a trader in NWN 2 that sells special Items.

It's a lot like the one that came with the CE of Baldurs Gate 2.

I'm waiting for my Lawfull Good collectors edition of NWN 2 to arrive and when it does Im hoping that I'll have the Presale trader aswell as the CE traders that come with the game.

Oh, and Highwayman, have you tried it, while it says US it might still work with the european english version, I would myself but I'm still waiting for parcelforce to deliver mine.

I have compared the "US" version available at GCW to the "English (UK)" version available from Atari (yes, I have a valid pre-order key) and they're IDENTICAL.

I had already successfully installed the GCW file in my game. Haven't found the merchant, but if you do install and check your character traits screen you should find a section called "Merchant's Friend" which says that you get 10% off of merchants and access to a special merchant somewhere.

It's kind of silly really, because all it does -- as far as I can tell from a cursory look -- is install two very small (~1KiB) files. It's safe to say that many of the resources required (graphics) was already shipped with the game, this is just an "enabler".

There is no need for the patch. Create your character then do the following once you are playing

~ (open console)
DebugMode 1
givefeat 1764
givefeat 1765
DebugMode 0
~ (close console)

All the patches do is add these two feats to every new character. (well, one feat is the pre-orer feat, the other is the limited edition feat). You can add these feats at any time. No new content is added with the two patches, so this is the exact same, you just have to manually add the feats to each character you make.

To test, there is a guy in the south west corner of the docks in Neverwinter. Once you add the LE feat (Blessed of Waukeen), there will be a new option when you talk to him to see his special items. The Merchant's friend merchant is near the academy in BlackLake. Also, your main character gets a 10% discount on purchases, and a 10% bonus on sales from all vendors with merchant's friend. The other LE merchant is in Port Llask
