El Matador in Germany - different version?

Hi guys,
I'm owning the German version (1.0) of El Matador, and this game was released in Germany just a few days ago (26th October).
But all the no-cd files and images available show dates of late August/ early September (also the ones for the German version) and --of course-- they don't work for me.

Can someone explain that? Are there different versions of the game? Maybe an English versions released in August? And why are there fixes for the German version that was released 2 months later?

Can I expect a "properly" fixed exe for my version? Or is the game already "outdated"?

this game wasn´t released on oct 26th, where do have this information from? this was released, like you said, aug/sep this year.

there was a special Games convention edition, which i also bought in saturn, this version is uncut, but the cut version is also out for a while now in germany. this version was sold during the games convention, a few weeks later, maybe 2 or so, the cut version was released.

Both 4players.de and gamecaptain.de say that the game (German cut version) was released on 26th October. And I didn't notice the game before, either ;-), but this could be my fault.

But I just read that there was some trouble with the indexing of the game...
I'm still confused.

And neither the fixed exes nor the images work for me. Is there a possibility to run the game without DVD?

It was indeed released in Germany end of last week, maybe 26.
It should have been released earlier, as in rest of europe, but they had trouble with german USK, they put it on index (no public selling). So they had to take some blood away and got it now over 18 age (What's the damn difference?)

The August version was the "Games Convention Edition" of the game, not for sale but uncut therefore. You understand?

Try to download/install brandnew official v1.1 patch, done to solve some copyprotection problems when playing the new retail version, maybe it helps, but don't know.

but no luck this time.
Obviously my exe and the other exes are different- the properties of my file say "El Matador- Plastic Reality Technology" while your (and the other fixed ones) say "stub MFC application".
So I'll try it with an an image... maybe someone notices the "conspiracy" with the different realease dates and versions ^^

yes, but only during the games convention. and only two saturn markets in leipzig sold them.
