Final Fantasy IX (US)

I'm about to copy this game and wanted to know what everyone is talking about. I mean with the FMV's. Do I need a patch for the US version to help with this, or will it work just fine.

From what I've heard if you have a psx model 55xx you need the patch but for the other models you don't.

I use model 9001, my brother uses my old 1001 and neither uses the patch. But my friend uses 5501 and he needed the patch. Don't ask me why. good luck.

I have a 5501. I have backed up all the disks. No patches, no cracks all working 100%. So i have no clue about all the fuss out there. Either you need to fix your laser, or get a better burner.
